Housing

The training program is non-residential. Students will be responsible for securing their own housing, however the program has a housing coordinator who will help students connect with each other for sharing hotel rooms, AirBnB rentals, campsites and other possibilities. We are also working with local Brattleboro residents who may be willing to open a room in their home at a lower cost than a hotel stay. We cannot guarantee any particular price range or type of housing.

The Latchis Hotel: The closest hotel to the training site (the only hotel in easy walking distance) is the Latchis Hotel in Downtown Brattleboro. It is just a couple of blocks from the Stone Church. Be aware that this non-profit-owned hotel is a historical building that reflects the funky aesthetic and country vibe of Brattleboro. It is not a luxury hotel, does not have food service and is run by a very small staff. As of early May, 2021, regular prices for a 13-night stay at the Latchis during October range from $1,859 for a room with a single queen bed to $3,718 for a suite with a queen and two twin beds. A room with two queen beds is $3,146. These prices include all taxes and fees and cover October 2nd to 15th (The training runs October 3-14, so the cost would be reduced by checking in and out on training days). We are working with the Latchis on a group rate and will post information here as soon as we have it.
