Joshua Wolk, Feldenkrais Trainer

Joshua Wolk, Assistant Feldenkrais Trainer, has  taught Awareness Through Movement (ATM) since 1994 and is the founder of 5 Lines Feldenkrais, a group practice in New York City where he oversees three other Feldenkrais Practitioners. Josh has been an Assistant Trainer since 2015. He has mentored three concurrently running groups of Feldenkrais practitioners since 2016, holding weekly or monthly meetings and assisting with the development ATM teaching skills in many Feldenkrais practitioners. 

Josh is an Aikido instructor and has held teaching certifications from the United States Aikido Federation, affiliated with the Aikikai Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, (both Eastern and the former Western Region) since 1993. Sheri Cohen, Feldenkrais Trainer

Sheri Cohen, Assistant Feldenkrais Trainer, RYT, (she/her), has had a lively Awareness Through Movement practice, in Seattle and more recently online, since 1998, where her students are musicians, dancers, actors, moms, meditators, runners, accountants, tech workers, therapists, and all versions of human being. Her students come to her for help with recovering from surgery and acute injury, to manage chronic pain, to improve performance in sports and arts, and to connect with themselves in an embodied way. Sheri has assisted in Feldenkrais trainings on both coasts since 2016. She co-facilitates peer-to-peer mentoring groups where body-oriented practitioners of many methods meet for support in the client-practitioner relationship.

Sheri is an award-winning choreographer who has taught contemporary dance, improvisation and creative process for three decades. Through dance she has been exposed to, or deeply researched, many somatic methods, including SkinnerReleasing, BodyMind Centering, and more. Scott Clark, Feldenkrais Trainer

Scott Clark began his journey in movement 40 year ago at college, where he switched from mathematics to study dance. This led him to years of performing, teaching and the co-founding of the Siobhan Davies Dance Company. He found his way to the Feldenkrais Method and graduated from the first training in the UK in 1990. Today Scott works with a wide variety of people, including a large number of dancers and musicians. Arlyn Zones, Feldenkrais Trainer

Arlyn Zones has taught in more than a hundred trainings worldwide. She has directed her own programs in Europe and North America, and will be director of the San Diego Awareness Through Movement Training, our sister school. Arlyn has taught ATM in schools for children with learning differences, psychiatric hospitals and rehabilitation clinics, and has taught Feldenkrais workshops for health professionals and performing artists. Arlyn is known for her ability to bring students deeply into their sensory motor experience. Drawing from her background in theater (M.A. Theatre Arts), she creates a dynamic atmosphere for learning. Mara Della Pergola, Feldenkrais Trainer

Mara Della Pergola was the only Italian student of Moshe Feldenkrais. She introduced the Method to Italy in the 1980s, founding the IsFel (Istituto di Formazione Feldenkrais) in Milan, where she lives, directing ongoing training programs and conducting a varied private practice. Mara teaches in North, South America and Europe and is known for her clarity, creativity and the accessibility of her teaching style. Author of numerous articles and publications, her book Lo sguardo in movimento. Donna Ray, Feldenkrais Trainer

Donna Ray is the director of Feldenkrais Southern California and has taught in or directed numerous training programs, both in the U.S. and in Europe. She is a highly experienced trainer known for her ability to facilitate emotional integration in the practice of the Feldenkrais Method. Donna Wood, Assistant Feldenkrais Trainer

Donna Wood is a sculptor. She has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education since 1996. Her extensive background in dance snd martial arts has created a richness of personal movement experience that she draws on in her practice of the method. Donna is a professor in the Brazilian martial art of capoeira and a black belt in the Japanese martial art of aikido. Donna works with a broad range of people and situations. Ohad Nachmani, Assistant Feldenkrais Trainer

Born in Israel, living in Spain, Ohad has been a certified Feldenkrais practitioner since 1998, with a very extensive experience working with people with neurological problems, children with special needs, musicians, singers and other performers working at a high level. Ohad holds a masters of arts in philosophy of science. He also investigates and teaches the dynamics of the human voice, and is an avid collaborator with professionals from other fields. Ohad is a long-time practitioner of different martial arts, and the father of three children in an alternative education system.
